Dear Balwant Rai, You know that I have been a tenant in your house for the last four years and have been paying rent regularly in the first week of every month. I have never asked you to do anything about the house and never requested anything that might give you any trouble.
It is a pity that you never thought of the house which needs large scale repairs, white-washing, and painting. If the work is not undertaken immediately and completely before the rains, the house is likely to crumble into dust.
Therefore, kindly have the house repaired, whitewashed, and painted immediately. If you have no time for the job, I will get it done myself and make necessary coeducation from the rent.
To make it convenient for you, I will deduct only half the rent every month till the bill for repairs and whitewashing, etc. is not adjusted in your account.
