The Joint Action Committee of teachers UT Chandigarh is constantly fighting for the cause of teaching community last my years & JAC had taken up many important demand which includes regulation of contract teachers, for enhancement of salary of various category of teachers on the basics of equal work & equal pay, permission of various cadre of teachers & filling up of vacant post of teachers. Recently the JAC has achieved & mild stone to get the salary of guest teacher enhanced & now they have undertaken the serious demand of enhancement of salary of part timer vocational staff which would be achieved very soon. In addition to this the long pending demand of promotion of JBT teachers to TGT was also undertaken at various level of the Chandigarh administration
The JAC was successful in first face for getting promotion order of 108 JBT as TGT. Now today as the fight was remain continued & in the second face, the JAC successful to get another 75 JBT teachers promoted to TGT. The Executive committee which include Bhag Singh Kairon, Convener, Shavinder Singh ,Convener, Ranbir Singh Rana secy., Khushali Ram Sharma legal advisor Shamsher Singh, Smt. Madhu Rama, Jupinder Kaur, Ravinder Sharma etc. Congregate Recently promoted JBT teachers & also express the gratuity towards various officers of the education department for fulfilling along pending demands. They expressed hope for promotion orders of remaining JBT teachers as soon as possible. The delegation of JAC will meet very soon to the higher authority of education department to expressed their gratitude & request for taking animate action on other pending remaining demands.
