A company comprises of different level of people along with the infrastructure. In the matter of taking decisions there is an on-going debate. Some cynics believe that the top level authorities should not involve the employees in confidential matters, While, some stand in the favour of equal participation of each and every worker who belong g to the company. My inclinations fall in the line with the second thought. I would like to discuss it in the following paragraphs.
The dominant reason of including the employees in taking the decisions is that it gives them the feeling of a part of the company. They can take the feeling of belongingness to the company when they feel like participated. But, on the contrary if the authorities keep them away, they start feeling neglected that can affect their performance. Apart from this, the acceleration to their work can be added with the medium of making them feel valued by asking their preferences and giving priority to their ideas. Their morale can be raised by asking about their opinions.
Moving further towards the other positive aspects, it’s very influential to get the variety of ideas rather than choosing from the narrow circle of limited people. If the top authorities ask for the opinions of other workers they get the golden opportunity to have the access to the various options. The employees can prove very intellectual as every person is unique and this can give the wide scope to the company by opening up new vistas.
To conclude, it is good to say that the top level authorities should consider the ideas of employees. The only thing that they should bear in mind is the actual value of each and every suggestion. The decision should only be taken by the intellectuals after pondering over the views of employees.
