Sub: Absence of a post office
Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed paper, I want to draw the attention of the authorities towards opening of a new post-office-cum-telegraph office in Char Minar. It is a thicky populated colony comprising of 5000 residents.
Being a very posh colony near to the market, the Government has provided different facilities to the residents but it lacks in post-office-cum-telegraph office. There is one post office at a distant place where people can approach after walking for 30 minutes. In this way, they are put in a great inconvenience. Even the visits of a postman are very far and few between. I think that the authorities are immune to this side. I hope that concerned authorities will awake and pay heed to the request of the residents of Char Minar.
