This is to draw your kind attention towards the lapse of an endowment Policy No. 5873342 dt. March 30, 2002, for which I was paying the half-yearly premium. My last premium was on March 25, 2001. Thereafter due to incurring huge losses in business, I was unable to pay the next two half-yearly premiums, as a result, my policy lapsed. However, by the sudden change in fortune and by the grace of the Almighty, my business has taken a concrete shape and the reversal of my financial condition has put me in a position to continue with my policy. Kindly intimate me as to how much should I pay in order to renew my policy, including the penalty levied. Your earliest response in this matter is awaited.

This is in reference to your letter dated April 7, 2003 regarding your Endowment Policy No. 5873342 for a period of twenty years. Well, we take this opportunity to thank you for your interest shown in renewing the policy and at the same time understand your position and sympathise you for your sudden slump in the business. In life all these cycles do occur, but to renew a policy which concerns unforeseen mishaps, on your part is not only an intelligent step but also a very bold one. We are deputing our Development Officer, Mr. Tejvin, who will call on you on April 22, 2003, in the morning around 9.00 a.m. and will explain to you all the necessary details. You are requested to hand him over the cheque for the amount and the penalty will be negligible, since the delay is just of one year. At the same time, we have come out with some new policies which you can have for your children. In case of any confusion, do feel free to revert to us.
