Neither Stone walls do not a prison make, nor does iron bar a cage

The human spirit is unconquerable and eternally free. We lose only our freedom for movement and action if we are imprisoned, not our ability to think or to uphold our conscience and ideals. Our thoughts usually continue to be vibrant even if we are physically confined. In other words, we can only be restrained physically; our thinking and ideas will always be free of restriction. History cites several instances when such restraints failed to prevent the spread of ideas. Jesus Christ’s conviction and eventual crucifixion could not kill his message of love and compassion. His teachings spread worldwide after his death and now form the base of one of the most popular religions.
