If I were the Captain of My school Football Team

I am a good player of football and have been selected for the school XI. Our team consists of the best players. It is a matter of joy and pride to be the captain of the team. Every player wishes to lead his team in the inter school  matches. If I were the captain of my school XI, I would try my best to win a good name for the school.

A captain has to take pains to improve his team. For this purpose, I shall arrange friendly matches. Every player will have players would be arranged inherited order. For example, one player can play better as a centre forwarded and another can be a good goal keeper. My team will be well versed in the technique of the game.

I shall like to be a true sportsman. I will always insist on fair play. Some players intentionally hurt their opponents to win the match. But my team would set an example for others. We shall display a sense of discipline, tolerance and cooperation. Without these qualities one cannot be called a true sportsman. Even after defeat I shall encourage my companions.

I will treat my fellow players as my equals and defend their interests. We shall work like one man under the guidance of our able physical instructor. I shall also give chance to others to be the captain in my place. I shall humbly serve my colleagues. when we win trophies and cups, our school will feel honored and proud of us.
