World Heart Day is celebrated on 21st September as an awareness programme among the masses. The significance of heart cannot be underestimated as it is the only pumping organ inside our body to circulate the liquid medium, blood, throughout the whole body. This day is supported by Heart Foundations throughout the world. Celebrating this day we get to know new avenues that have opened up for the care of Heart. Heart attack is mostly related to lifestyle disorders.
