Sub. : Unusual inordinate delay in crediting the amount against Cheque No. 702425 to our S.B. a/c No 65176 with you.

Sir,

I am deeply shocked and anguished to inform that though the above-mentioned cheque for Rs. 25.000/- (twenty-five thousand only) was deposited by me in your branch on 15th March, 2007, the amount against it has yet to be credited to my account. The issuing party has confirmed that the payment against the said cheque was debited from their account on 20th March.

The particulars of the cheque in questions are :
