CBSE ASL Speaking Topic “conversation between two friends Mohan and Sohan regarding a house on fire”

Conversation on the Topic “A House on Fire” for Class 9, 10, 11 and 12 Students.

Mohan: Hello, Sohan. What has happened there?

Sohan: It seems that a house is on fire.

Mohan: Let us go there and find out.

Sohan: All right. Come on.

Mohan: Look there, a cloud of smoke is rising from that house.

Sohan: There is a large crowd of people gathered there. The flames and the cloud of smoke are touching the sky.

Mohan: It is really a heart-rending spectacle.

Sohan: See, some people are taking household articles out of the house and throwing them on the road, to save them from the fire.

Mohan: I think by and by the fire is spreading to every corner of the house.

Sohan: It is trying to spread to the neighbouring buildings.

Mohan: See, some people are bringing water from a nearby tap in buckets, and throwing on the fire.

Sohan: Some other people are also bringing sand and dust. They are throwing it on the fire to extinguish it.

Mohan: But I think that the wind is so strong that it is fanning the fire which has now reached the upper storey of the building. Look, there a truck full of police has come up. They have put a cordon around the whole area.

Sohan: The fire brigade has also come. Two firemen have laid a ladder to save two children who have been trapped on the second floor.

Mohan: Everybody is now praising the two brave firemen who have saved the lives of two children. The firemen are struggling hard to control the fire.

Sohan: I think some firemen have also been injured and they are being given first aid on the spot.

Mohan: Thank God, ultimately, the fire has been controlled within two hours.

Sohan: But the beautiful building has been reduced to ashes in a few hours.

Mohan: Some people are also saying that the cause of the fire is a short circuit in the electric wiring.

Sohan: Fortunately, there is no loss of human life. Mohan: It has rightly been said that fire is a good servant but it is a bad master.

Sohan: You are right. Nobody can doubt that it is a great necessity for mankind but it can also cause huge destruction when it goes out of control.
