Bookseller: What can I do for you, please?
Customer: I want to purchase a few books.
Bookseller: Which books do you want please?
Customer: I want to purchase some books for my brother who is studying in M.A. Political Science and a few books for myself to prepare for the competitive Examinations.
Bookseller: In which University is your brother studying?
Customer: My brother is studying in Delhi University.
Bookseller: Is your brother studying in the Previous year or the Final year?
Customer: He is a Previous year student.
Bookseller: What is his medium? Hindi or English?
Customer: His medium is English.
Bookseller: Can you name the papers for which you want the books for him?
Customer: I want to purchase books for Ancient & Medieval Western Political Thought and for International Law.
Bookseller: Do you want books by Indian Authors or Foreign Authors?
Customer: I want books by Foreign Authors only please.
Bookseller: For Ancient and Medieval Western Political thought, we have books by Prof. Sabine and Prof. Ebenstein. For International Law we have books by Oppenheim and Fenwick. I can show you the books by all these authors, then you can choose yourself.
Customer: Please show me the books.
Bookseller: Here are the books, please.
Customer: Which book would you recommend for Ancient and Medieval Western Political Thought?
Bookseller: In my opinion Prof. Sabine’s book is the best book on this subject.
Customer: What about the International Law?
Bookseller: For International Law Prof. Oppenheim is an authority.
Customer: Thank you. Then please give me these very two books, one by Prof. Sabine and the other by Prof. Oppenheim.
Bookseller: O.K., please. I’ll get these books packed. Now which books do you want for the Competitive Examinations?
Customer: First of all I want a good book on General Knowledge. Secondly I want some books on English Essays and English Vocabulary.
Bookseller: For General Knowledge we have got a very good book written by Mr. S.K. Sachdeva. For English essays, I would recommend you to purchase two books “Current College Essays” and “Essays for Competitive Examinations” written by Prof. G.K. Puri.
Customer: What about, English Vocabulary?
Bookseller: For English Vocabulary also I would recommend you to purchase a book “Instant Vocabulary” written by Prof. G.K. Puri.
Customer: Thank you. Now please pack up these books also. I am in a little hurry. Give me the bill quickly.
Bookseller: Here’s your bill, please.
Customer: Please have these hundred rupees note, deduct the amount of the bill and return to me the balance.
Bookseller: Here’s your balance please.
Customer: Thank you.
