Enquiry clerk: At window No. 7, please.
Miss Jyoti: Could you please weigh this registered letter and tell me the value of the stamps which I should affix on it?
Enquiry clerk: (Weighs the letter) Please affix stamps worth Rs. 3.50 on this letter.
Miss Jyoti: Please also tell me, where is the registration counter?
Enquiry clerk: It is at window No. 3.
Miss Jyoti: Thank you, please.

Miss Jyoti: Is this the window for buying postal stamps?
A young man: Yes, please.

Stamp Vendor: Anything else do you’ want’?
Miss Jyoti: I also want postal stamps worth Rs. 3.50.
Stamp Vendor: O.K. Please give me the money.
Miss Jyoti: Here is a ten rupee note. Please return me the balance.
Stamp Vendor: Here are your five inland letters, two foreign letters and the stamps worth Rs. 3.50. is your balance,
Miss Jyoti: Thank you, please.
(She affixes the stamps worth Rs. 3.50 on the registered letter and then she goes to the window No. 3)
Miss Jyoti: (To the registration clerk) I want to get this letter registered.
Clerk: Please give me the letter.
Miss Jyoti: Have it, please.
Clerk: Have you got it weighed please?
Miss Jyoti: Yes, please.
Clerk: Stamps of how much value have you affixed?
Miss Jyoti: I have affixed stamps worth Rs. 3.50.
Clerk: (After weighing the letter on the scales) It’s all right please. But have you written your address on the back of the envelope?
Miss Jyoti: I am sorry, I forgot to write it.
Clerk: Please write it now.
Miss Jyoti: I shall write it in a minute. (She returns the letter after writing her address) Here it is please.
Clerk: Now, it’s all right. Here is your registration receipt.
