ASL Topic Conversation between  four friends Mohan, Rita, Naresh and Meena go to Bhadkal Lake for a Picnic Party. For Class 9, 10, 11 and 12.

Mohan: Hello! Rita and Naresh. What are you doing here?

Rita: Hello! Mohan. We were just thinking about you. Please sit down.

Mohan: What’s the matter? Why were you thinking about me?

Naresh: We were just planning to go out for a picnic tomorrow.

Mohan: Tomorrow is Sunday. I think it’s a fine idea.

Rita: We are planning to go to Bhadkal Lake.

Mohan: It’s a very good picnic spot.

Rita: Oh! Look there, Meena is also coming. I think we can also invite her.

Mohan: Why not?

Meena: Hello! everybody. What are you doing?

Mohan: We are just planning to go to Bhadkal Lake tomorrow for a picnic. Will you accompany us?

Meena: With great pleasure.

Rita: The idea is that Naresh will borrow his father’s car and pick up everybody from the residence at 8 A.M. We shall reach the Bhadkal Lake by 9 A.M.

Meena: What time shall we return?

Naresh: We hope to return by 6.30 P.M.

Meena: I think it is an excellent idea. We shall enjoy ourselves very much.

Naresh: We can carry a dry lunch with us and we shall have a good fun there.

Mohan: I agree.

Naresh: I’ll bring Tandoori chickens for all of us.

Meena: I’ll bring vegetable sandwiches and boiled eggs.

Mohan: I’ll bring soft drinks and fruit.

Rita: I shall bring cake and fried fish for everybody.

Naresh: O.K. Then it’s all agreed. Let us now disperse and meet tomorrow. Goodbye everybody.

Rita: Bye, bye.

Mohan: Bye, bye.

Meena: See you.

(The next day all four of them arrive at the Bhadka Lake at 9 A.M.)

Naresh: I think I should park the car here.

Mohan: Yes, it’s a good place to park the car.

Meena: Now, let us find some peaceful and quiet place where we can listen to music. I have brought some very good cassettes of Western music.

Naresh: Let us carry all these packets and this carpet.

Rita: What a fine weather it is today!

Mohan: I think we shall enjoy ourselves.

Meena: Let’s go and hire a boat for rowing.

Rita: I am very fond of rowing. Let’s go.

Mohan: But who will sit back to look after our packets?

Naresh: Don’t worry I have brought my servant Ramu, he will look after our things.

(They hire two boats and do the rowing for two hours.)

Mohan: Oh! I am feeling hungry like a wolf.

Naresh: Same here.

Meena: Let’s go and eat something.

Naresh: Let’s eat the Tandoori chickens first of all. I have brought these from Moti Mahal restaurant.

Meena: These seem to be very delicious.

Mohan: Very tasty.

Rita: Where are your soft drinks?

Mohan: They are lying in that Ice-box. I’ll just open a bottle for everybody.

Rita: It’s really refreshing. What a splendid idea to keep the soft drinks in the Ice-box.

Meena: Now please let me open my packet of vegetable sandwiches and boiled eggs.

Rita: What about the cake and the fried fish which I have brought?

Naresh: This we’ll eat in the afternoon.

Meena: Where is my tape recorder? Let me play some music for all of you.

Mohan: Very good idea. (Meena plays the western music and all of them start dancing)

Naresh: Meena, I congratulate you for. the nice selection of your music.

Rita: Now let’s go and take a cup of coffee in the restaurant.

Naresh: Let’s go.

Mohan: I really admire the, Haryana Government. They have constructed many good picnic spots in Haryana, especially around Delhi.

Naresh: You are right. I also like the right choice of their picnic spots.

(Thus, they enjoy themselves the whole day and return happily in the evening.)
