My Hobby

1. A hobby is always very enjoyable. It is taken up during one’s leisure hours. It is taken up for change and pleasure. My hobby is gardening.
2. I have a small piece of land at the back of my house. It was a wasteland. With hard labour.
3. If turned into a garden, grew flower beds on one side and on the other side I cleared it for growing vegetables.
4. My love for gardening turned this piece of land into a good-looking garden. Flowers fascinate me very much.
5. I grew rose plants of different flowers, Champa, water lilies, marigolds and sunflowers. The vegetables
6. I grow are very good and nourishing. I am proud of showing my garden to my friends and relatives.
7. I spend 2 to 3 hours looking after it. It has saved a lot of money also that we used to spend on buying vegetables.
8. It gives me good exercise. I have gained much knowledge about gardening. I feel relaxed working in it.
9. It provides me pleasure and fitness. Whosoever visits my garden likes to visit it again and again. The sweet scent of flowers fills the nature. There I have a neem tree and small tulsi plant.
