Write a request to the Principal of your school allowing boys to take up home science subject.

Respected Sir,
Respectfully I state that household chores have, been confined to the female gender so far. Kitchen is allergic to the boys and vice versa. In the modern age girls find a little time to work in the kitchen because they take up jobs. If they perform double duty they grumble. If the boys have even elementary knowledge of household chores, they can be of great help to their counterparts.
Cooking cannot be a sole prerogative of women and girls and it should not be. Moreover, boys knowing cooking will become self-supporting and self-dependent.
So I request you to allow boys to take up home science as a subject at least up to class IX. Let it remain an elective subject in the beginning.
