Facing a Grenade Blast

Last evening, I was standing at the local bus stand as I had to go to Mughalsarai. There was a scheduled power cut and there was not much light at the place.

My bus was said to be late.

So, I decided to have a cup of tea at a small tea shop. The shop was attached to the bus stand.

As I was standing in front of the shop, I heard a big bang sound. It did not take minutes to me to realize that some explosive item had fallen in front of me. A number of other people were also standing there and almost all of them had the same realization.

Fortunately for me, I had unconsciously got protection from a large tin and wood hoarding which came which came between me and the explosive object. Soon, it was learnt that it was a grenade which some terrorist had tossed at the place.

About a dozen persons were injured. Most of them were bus drivers. They were standing here and talking. Some of them had tea-cups in their hands. The police at once started search. A known terrorist who was trying to flee was nabbed. He made a clean breast of everything. He was taken away by the policemen.
