10 Lines – The City I Live In
1. The city I live in the capital of India. I am proud of it.
2. It has many historical buildings, temples, schools and colleges, a few universities top class hospitals.
3. It has the President’s House, The Parliament, and the Delhi Zoo.
4. Religious places like the Birla Mandir, the Qutab Minar, Jama Masjid, Gurudwaras and Churches.
5. Millions of people live in it. Millions of people come daily for jobs.
6. There is Connaught Place, the center of shopping. There is Palika Bazar.
7. There are over 50 cinema houses and colleges. Education is of high order. It is mini-India. There are AIR and Doordarshan buildings.
8. There is the Reserve bank of India near the Parliament house. All kinds of facilities are in my city. It is divided into two parts -the old and new.
9. The things that are of great concern are rising crimes and population.
10. Otherwise, the city is worth living. I am proud of it. In the past, it had been the capital of many empires.
