10 Lines – A Visit to The Zoo

1. I visited the Delhi Zoo. It is situated at Mathura Road near Purana Killa.
2. Animals are kept there in different compartments, cages, parks, and ponds according to their habitats.
3. Proper care is taken of each animal bird or reptile. The children enjoyed it a lot.
4. There I saw lions, zebras, rhinos, panthers, deer, hippopotamuses, elephants, monkeys, peacocks, parrots, leopards, chimpanzees, stags, etc.
5. There were three small crocodiles. There were bears too.
6. I also saw ducks and swans. Monkeys attracted a large number of people.
7. Children were teasing them and also throwing grams and groundnuts at them.
8. I gained a lot of knowledge about different animals kept in the Delhi Zoo.
9. I saw a peacock dancing. It presents a wonderful sight. I came out of the zoo tired but happy.
10. It was a day well spent among animals and birds.
