A Market Scene

1. Everywhere a marketplace is a busy place. People go to a market to buy articles for their needs.
2. Usually, the first week of every month is the most crowded one at a market.
3. On every other day there are always crowds of people busy in buying goods.
4. On the days of a festival the shops are flooded by buyers.
5. We also see hawkers and patriwalas shouting loudly to sell their goods. Big shops look attractive.
6. However there are different places for selling vegetables and fruit.
7. These places are usually overcrowded in the evening. There are jewellery shops where we find some people buying ornaments.
8. Cloth shops and readymade garments shops do roaring business during a festival.
9. Most people are seen sitting in hotels and restaurants. It is very difficult to drive a car in a marketplace.
10. Our markets are quite different from the markets of the western advanced countries. It is often pleasant to move into a market, particularly in the evening.
