Dear Balwinder,

I was shocked to hear that you failed in the Matriculation Examination this year. In fact, my heart plunged in the ocean of darkest despair when I failed to find your name in the list of successful candidates. I thought it could be a printing mistake and so I checked the list again and again. I have yet to come to terms with the fact that an intelligent student like you had failed in this examination.

You deserved success in every way but it was not the will of God that you should pass the examination this war. I am sure all this happened for your good. The ways of God are mysterious and he does everything for our good and goodness.

I can understand your disappointment and the hard time that you must be going through. But you should not lose heart. What cannot be cured must be endured.

You did your best and left no stone unturned to come out with flying colours. If you did not succeed, it was none of your fault. It surely was the fault of examiners. They made a mistake somewhere.

I suggest that you apply for the re-checking of your examination papers. I am sure that there is something wrong somewhere. May my doubt come out to be true. I hope your efforts in this direction will bear fruit.
