Dear Mr. Virmani,

This is to inform you that the house, I have been living in for the last two years, has neither been painted, nor has it undergone any repairs for quite some time. I request you to come and see personally what it requires urgently for renovation. Since I am terribly busy in office and reach home quite late these days, and since, even otherwise, you have not authorized me for getting any repairs done at my own level, I find no other option but to approach you for having the job done. There is seepage in the walls of the drawing room, leading to dampness and unpleasant odour. The plaster has also come off from places and the wall paint has faded away. Doors and windows are in need of fresh paint. There are some other jobs as well to be done, which would be brought to your notice on your visit. The completion of these repairs and the painting job are necessary even for the maintenance and durability of the building.

I shall feel obliged, if you pay immediate attention to my request, taking into consideration the urgency of the situation. Hoping for an early, prompt response,
