In India, leaders appear to grow on trees. Anybody with the gift of the gab assumes the role of a leader. And our people are such gulls that they would follow anyone. Many a drunkard preaches temperance from the house-tops and many a black- marketeer waxes eloquent on the glories of patriotism. They have made our country a land of misery and hunger.
