Note: Attempt three questions in all, selecting one question from each Unit. Q. No. 1 is compulsory.

प्रत्येक इकाई में से एक प्रश्न चुनते हुए, कुल तीन प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए। प्रश्न संख्या 1 अनिवार्य है।

1 Write short notes on the following: 4+4=8

(a) Meaning of language

(b) Importance of reading materials.

निम्नलिखित पर संक्षिप्त टिप्पणियाँ लिखिए :

(अ) भाषा का अर्थ

(ब) पठन सामग्री का महत्त्व।

Unit-I (इकाई-I)

2 Explain the principles of language teaching and learning. How is the process of language acquisition enhanced by the knowledge of these principles?                                                 16

भाषा शिक्षण एवं अधिगम के सिद्धान्तों का वर्णन कीजिए। इन सिद्धान्तों का ज्ञान भाषा सीखने की प्रक्रिया को किस प्रकार बढ़ा सकता है ?

3  What is the relationship of Language with Society? How do the demands of society change the content of language teaching?                                                                                           16

भाषा एवं समाज में क्या सम्बन्ध है ? समाज की माँगें भाषा शिक्षण की विषय-वस्तु को किस प्रकार परिवर्तित करती हैं ?

Unit II (इकाई II)

4 Discuss is the importance of speaking skills for school students. How will you develop the speaking skills of your students?                                                                                           16

विद्यार्थियों के लिए वाचन कौशल का क्या महत्त्व है ? बच्चों में बोलने से सम्बन्धी कौशल आप किस प्रकार विकसित करेंगे ?

5 Explain the concept of writing skills as tool of language learning. How will you improve the writing skills of your students?

भाषा अधिगम के साधन के रूप में लेखन कौशल की अवधारणा पर प्रकाश डालिए। बच्चों के लेखन कौशल में सुधार के लिए आप क्या करेंगे?
