प्रत्येक इकाई में से एक प्रश्न चुनते हुए कुल तीन प्रश्न करें। प्रश्न क्रमांक 1 अनिवार्य है।

1 Briefly describe the following:

(a) Mascularity and femininty

(b) Gender in equalities.

निम्नलिखित का संक्षिप्त विवरण दीजिए :

(क) पुरुषत्व एवं स्त्रीत्व

(ब) लिंग असमानताएँ।

Unit I (इकाई 1)

2 ‘Gender identity is created by social environment.’ Justify this statement in the light of the role of family and media with suitable examples

“सामाजिक वातावरण से लिंग पहचान (Gender identity) का सृजन होता है।” उचित उदाहरण सहित, परिवार तथा संचार माध्यमों की भूमिका के संदर्भ में उक्त कथन की सार्थकता सिद्ध

कीजिए।

3 Write a detailed note on paradigm shift from women studies to gender studies in Independent India.

आजाद भारत में ‘महिला अध्ययन’ से ‘लिंग अध्ययन’ की ओर परिपेक्षात्मक सोच की तबदीली पर एक विस्तृत लेख लिखिए।

Unit II (इकाई II)

4 Discuss the importance of Gender equality. Highlight the role of school curriculum, test books and classroom processes in promoting gender equality with the help of suitable examples.

लिंग समानता के महत्व की विवेचना कीजिए। उचित उदाहरण सहित ‘लिंग समानता’ को बढ़ावा देने में विद्यालय पाठ्यक्रम पाठ्य-पुस्तकों तथा ‘कक्षात्मक परिप्रेक्ष्य’ की भूमिका को उजागर कीजिए।

5 Describe the concept of Equity and Equality. Discuss the emergence of gender specific roles in the light of Psychological perspective.

अपक्षपात एवं समानता के सम्प्रत्यय की व्याख्या कीजिए। लिंग विशेष भूमिका के उद्भाव में मनोवैज्ञानिक आधारों की विवेचना कीजिए।
