Sir,
My son, Jai Pratap Singh, is a regular student of VIII-A of your school. My income is very low and I have a big family of six members to support. I am a tailor by profession and we live hand to mouth in a but near the railway station.
My son is very fond of studies and has always secured good marks in all his examinations. He is good in sports and is also the captain of the school hockey team. My poverty has time and again stood in the way of my son’s education, forcing him to discontinue his studies many a time. But Jai Pratap’s dreams to do something good in life made me change my decision again and again.
In view of the above circumstances, I request you, Sir, to allow free studentship to my son. If possible, he may kindly be helped with school books and uniform. I shall ever remain indebted to you for this act of great favour.
