You are late for the School. Your Principal rebukes you.
I am an early bird. I deem it my duty to work regularly and punctually, It is not in my nature to shirk work or do it irregularly. I rather abhor such boys as are irregular. Unfortunately, one day I reached the school late. I felt greatly ashamed of myself. Our principal was standing at the gate. I had no face to face him. I could not avoid. I stood before him with bowed head. He rebuked me. He called me shirker, an irregular and unpunctual student. I faced the volleys of rebukes and scolding’s. But I soul not help expiation my position. At that time, the principal was not in a mood to listen to any of my explanation’s It sparked up his anger even more when tried to speak. I thought it better to go to my class.
In the recess, I mustered courage and stood at the door of Principals’ office. I sought his permission hesitatingly. He allowed me to say my say but only for a few minutes.
I explained to him that I was really sorry for being late in the school that day. The main reason of my coming alte to the school was that my father had not been feeling well for a few days. I was the only male member to attend on him. I had forgotten to have directions for the use off. I could not avoid. I stood before him with bowed head. He rebuked me. He called me shirker, an irregular and unpunctual student. I faced the volleys of rebukes and scolding’s. But I soul not help expiation my position.
The Principal was simply pleased with my clean confession. He praised me for having the sense of punctuality in life. He hoped that all the students would learn such inspirit from me.
