On the cricket ground, Grace was an amusing character and often resorted to gamesmanship. He dominated the cricket world for 41 years and led the English cricket team in test matches. Wherever he went, he was given a hero’s welcome. Grace was at his peak during 1873-76 as a cricketer. By 1895, he had hit more than a hundred centuries.
