Popularly known as ‘Sam’, her number ‘Touch Me’ thrilled young r people all over the world. She became an instant craze as crowds swayed their hips to its lilting tune. Twenty-five-year-old Samantha was working as a model woman before she became a pop singer. She started modelling at the young age of sixteen. Prior to that she worked in a shop.

She struck her first album of pop numbers in 1982 which hardly created any waves. It was only after she sang the number ‘Touch Me’ that she became a top singer in Europe. Some other numbers that became popular were ‘I wanna have some fun’, ‘Hold me tight’. Samantha established the pop group named ‘Housing Group’. She then merged it with ‘The London City Dancers’. This group became a rage in many countries of the world because of its numbers and dances.
