This lesson is a dialogue between Sunil and his mother. Sunil’s mother wakes him up to get ready for his school in time.
Mother. Get up, now, Dear Sunil. It is already 7 A.M. Otherwise you will be late for your school.
Sunil. Oh! Mummy, good morning.
Mother. Good morning, my dear son, now be a good child and get up at once.
Sunil. Mummy, let me sleep for only five minutes more.
Mother. No, Sunil you are already getting late for your school. Now I can’t allow you to sleep any longer.
Sunil. O.K. Mummy here I am.
Mother. Don’t stand here and waste your time.
Sunil. Good mummy, give me something to eat, I am feeling very hungry like a wolf.
Mother. No, I can’t give you anything to eat. First of all, go to the bathroom, wash your face, and clean your teeth with the toothbrush.
Sunil. O.K. Good Mummy, I am coming back in a minute.
Mother. All right in the meantime, I shall prepare your breakfast.
Sunil. Mummy, give me my breakfast. I have washed my face and cleaned my teeth.
Mother. Very good boy, here is your breakfast and don’t forget to drink’ your milk.
Sunil. Thank you, Mummy.
Mother. Now, hurry up Sunil, and finish your breakfast.
Sunil. Just coming, Mummy.
Mother. Here is your school dress and the sweater.
Sunil. Where are my shoes, Mummy?
Mother. I don’t know, you should take care of your things and keep them at the proper place.
Sunil. I kept them here under the chair yesterday when I came back from the school.
Mother. But that’s not the proper place to keep your shoes.
Sunil. I am very sorry, Mummy. I shall be more careful in the future.
Mother. Here are your shoes. I have found them for you. Now dress up quickly.
Sunil. First give me the shoes, Mother.
Mother. Take these.
Sunil. Thanks mother. Now I am ready and still, there are five minutes for my school bus to come.
Mother. Sunil wait for a minute, I am bringing your tiffin box from the kitchen.
Sunil. Thank you, Mummy, I am going. Goodbye, dear Mummy.
Mother. Bye Bye, my son.
