The Joint Action Committee of Teachers U.T. Chandigarh has taken up many demands.

The a joint action committee of Teachers U.T. Chandigarh has taken up many demands of teachers working in chandigarh which includes :-

Regularization of Contact/SSA/GUEST teachers and release of 17% Enhanced DA for Contact and guest teachers with the high officials of U.T. Chandigarh . On 17-4-15 11 member delegation of JAC met Education Secretary , Chandigarh Administration to release 17% DA to Contact and Guest teachers as a result of which today the Chandigarh Administration have released 17% DA and therefore the major demand has been met. The various leaders Sarv Shri Bhag Singh Kairon (Convener), Ranbir Rana, Khushali Sharma, Savinder Singh, Shamsher Singh, Ravinder Sharma, Jupinder Kaur, Madhurama etc. Have welcomed the decision of the Chandigarh Administration and expressed their great attitudes to the Education Secretary , CHD Administration. They also hope that other long pending demands of the teachers will be sought out at the earliest.
