Subject : Dead Telephone

Sir,

I feel immensely sorry to bring to your kind notice my anguish that my telephone No. 26461248 has been dead virtually for the last two weeks. In spite of my repeated complaints at 198 in addition to my repeated, personal visits to your office, the said phone has not been restored, although there is no outstanding payment of any of my bills against it. I have been paying my bills before time, never late.

I cannot understand what the reason for such a delay should be except the negligence of the concerned staff. The delay in removing the fault has resulted in great inconvenience to all my family members.

May I hope that taking into consideration the urgency of the case, you will be kind enough to issue orders to the concerned officials to have the fault removed without any further delay ?

Thanking you,

Yours faithfully,

V.P. Kochar
