My dear Sanjay,

Your report card for the annual examination brought cheers and joy to everyone in the family. It is really great that you have stood first in the class, for which you really deserve our heartiest congratulations. Grandpa and grandma have already reserved a surprise gift for you on this feat !

But dear Sanjay, a remark from your class teacher in the report card has been the cause of great concern for everyone in the family. It says ‘A BOOKWORM, HAVING NO INTEREST IN GAMES AND SPORTS’. It shows you are over-exerting yourself in studies at the cost of your health, which is real wealth for anyone. Ignoring this particular aspect of education, i.e. participation in games and sports on a regular basis cannot be called wise, or advisable. What is the use of being a topper with a frail physique ?

Your indifference to games and sports has made you lanky and pale. Boys at your age bubble with youth and energy. But yours is a different case ! May I, therefore, sincerely and earnestly advise my dear brother not to be a bookworm and devote equal time for the development of his physique. Go for your morning walk, do some Yoga and try to be in the company of nature-birds, flowers and greenery.

Hope my advice would make you change your daily schedule.

Your loving sister,

Neerja
