Sir,

I want to draw the attention of the authorities towards the deplorable condition of the road leading to our locality. Kindly publish the following a few lines in the Letters Column of your esteemed paper.

The road leading to New Krishna Vihar” from main Paschim Puri Road has not been looked after for a time. The one kilometer road is completely in shambles, full of pits and broken. A population of about five thousand depends on this road. It has been completely neglected for a long time and has become a source of great trouble for the residents of this locality. The vehicles are compelled to move on a snail’s pace on the road as the rough the road is. The condition becomes worst in the rainy season.

The Electricity lights provided for the road are also out of order and it is pitch dark here in the evenings and night. The pedestrians face lot of trouble during late hours. The matter was reported to the local authorities many times but they seem to turn a deaf ear to it. Now I want to approach the higher authorities through the columns of this paper for the redressal of this long standing problem.
