I got your letter yesterday. I am too much ashamed of my performance in my first terminal examination. I admit that I didn’t work hard in my studies and mixed up with some bad boys here. Now the result is before me. But I assure you that I have determined to improve myself. I understand. it was my folly and I would ruin my career and your dreams if I continue like that.
Papa, I will not let you down. I will make it sure to compensate all the weakness in the studies by burning midnight oil continuously and come out with flying colours next time. I hope you will forgive me for my negligence and bless me to succeed in my renewed efforts to see all my dreams come true. Kindly assure dear Mom that I will show her that I have improved and resolved to come up again.
