Panchkula,May 18th Monday 2015 (Kulbir Singh Kalsi):- Just 13-yr old Kunal Garg, a student of Class VIII in Hallmark Public School, Sector-15, Panchkula, glorified Tricity with a score of 963/1000 in the MOS(Microsoft Office Specialist) World Championship 2015 in MS-PowerPoint at the regional level. Though the required score was 700, he outperformed all his peers with perfect and speedy scores, paving his way to the MOS Nationals to be held on 22 may 2015 at Habitat Centre Delhi.
Entering its fourteenth year, the global MOS World Championships not only provides a platform for students to test and showcase their skills on Microsoft Office applications, but reward the students to gain the upper hand in today’s competitive academic and professional skills also. In 2014, more than 400,000 unique candidates from 130 countries competed to demonstrate their mastery of Microsoft Office products.
Speaking on the occasion Director of Hallmark Public School Mr Jivtesh Garg said “ I am thrilled that Kunal Garg is going to New Delhi and just another win will earn him a sponsored entry to finals in Dallas USA. Excited Principal,KavitaWadhwa said,“18 students from Hallmark participated,,,,16 outscore the required score of 700/1000. Kunal Garg scored 100% in 3 sections of the MOS-PowerPoint 2013 (latest version)……credit goes to the uniquely developed ICT curriculum by the Hallmark Team itself. ICT Faculty, Chhavi Madra researched and mentored the students to set benchmarks in tech-skills.

Kunal on the occasion said,’I’m proud of my alma mater that equipped me with all academic and tech-skills through advanced curriculum to crack this challenging challenge. I want to bring pride to my nation by winning the finals in Dallas.
