1. I am a colourful school bag and two years old today.
2. I am dearly loved by my master, six-year-old Pappu. He calls me Baggy, a name that sounds so nice.
3. My life began in a tailor’s shop. He made me out of many colourful pieces of waste cloth and my band that is slung on the shoulder is red.
4. I have two shiny buckles and a broad flap.
5. One day, Pappu came to the tailor’s shop with his parents and saw me hanging from the wall.
6. He bought me from the tailor for Rs. 200. Pappu took me to his study room.
7. After putting his books and pencil box inside, he closed me with the flap and buckles.
8. Next morning, he carried me proudly to school. His friends admired me and loved my colours.
