Dear Sir,

In response to your advertisement in The Hindustan Times, dated the 4th of August,, inviting applications from male/female, well-qualified and experienced persons for Marketing Executives and Accountants in your organisation, I have the Executive. honour to offer myself as a candidate for the post of Marketing

As regards my qualifications, I may submit that I passed M.Com from Delhi University last year, securing a good second class. I have also obtained a Diploma in Marketing from NIIT. My career throughout has been fairly good. I know typewriting and stenography also.

As regards experience, I have been working with M/s Sikand and Co., Connaught Place, and the Automobile Division since January…….. During the period I gained all-round experience of running a private organisation, liaison with other firms dealing in automobiles, public relations and the allied matters. I want a change to improve my future prospects. The present employer has given me a No Objection Certificate’, a Photostat copy of which is enclosed for ready reference.

I am a young man of 21 years, having good health and active habits. My particular interest in marketing work is the reason for applying for the post. My father, too, has been in the same business. As a student, I have been quite active in extra-curricular activities. I was a member of the Hockey XI of my college. The certificates that I attach with this application would bear out that I have been quite social and popular.
