Letter to the Editor of a Newspaper Complaining about the Nuisance of Loudspeakers
To,
The Editor,
The times of India,
Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg,
New Delhi
Dear sir,
I seek to bring to the notice of the authorities concerned though the columns of your esteemed paper the nuisance of the use of loudspeakers.
All the cinema houses make use loudspeakers for the publicity of their films. They put the loudspeakers on high pitch and force films songs on the ears of the passers- by. Not only the passers – by, even the people sitting in their houses are disturbed. Different people in different houses are faced with their own problems. The high sound of the loud- speakers disturb them. It disturbs the peace of heart patients who cannot listen to the high sound. It disturbs the peace of heart patients who cannot listen to the high sound. It disturbs the students in particular. Once disturbed, they cannot again concentrate upon their studies.
I request the authorities concerned to take action to the people of the nulsance of loudspeakers.
Yours faithfully,
Dinesh Kalra

Subject : The nuisance caused by the use of loudspeakers from the places of worship
Sir,
“Now-a-days, we are fast changing into a consumerist society. Its main disadvantage is the tendency in the masses to show off. It has encouraged the use of loudspeakers at the places of worship, including temples, mosques and gurdwaras during the early morning hours. The current trend is to show off even one’s divine faith on a very large scale. This is visible from the ear-shattering sound, coming from loud speakers in the morning from these places. The practice has become an integral part of our rituals to invoke gods for their blessings. People in their longing to show faith in God forget that their right to freedom ends where other’s nose begins. The stereo-typed, tuneless Bhajans pierce into the ears of a devoted student or a dying patient and disturb him in one way or the other. Their novel way of praying is at the expense of the livings’ peace.
Students are the worst sufferers on account of this nuisance. People should be made aware of the fact that loud noise does not express any religious faith and is merely a sign of frustration and superficiality.”
Please be kind enough to publish my above-mentioned ideas in your LETTER TO THE EDITOR column in order to open the eyes of all those who in their desire to please the Almighty disturb others.
Yours truly,
Guruswami

Write a letter to the editor complaining about the nuisance created by the local boys in your locality?
A very simple letter it was! It would be definitely useful to those who could not even write what they thought. We all are already aware of many things in today’s date. Still there are people who are lagging in such kind of simple but interesting things. One thing is that you should be able to write this letter or even ant other topic on your own. Everybody has his/her own personality and thoughts. So first understand the question, think about your view and opinion (every answer would be right; everbody is different), and execute your thoughts by your Pen Down Option…. As simple as that.
