Letter to Airtel for overcharging in the Mobile Bill.
Letter to Airtel for overcharging in the Mobile Bill.
August 12, 2002
To,
The Director,
Manager Airtel
New Delhi.
Sir,
It came as a matter of rude shock when my July 2002, the bill showed an amount of Rs.37,541 (Thirty thousand, five hundred and forty-one). More than the bill, the dialed numbers belonged to International Subscriber Dialing (ISD) especially to Japan, Canada, and Germany, when in reality my Telephone No. 98XXXXXXX does not even have a Subscriber Trunk Dialing (STD). This is not only an irresponsible act of Airtel but downright outrageous. For a Subscriber like me who has believed in utilizing the telephone rather than misutilising, by talking for hours on end, it is depressing. Such irregularities, at a time when most of the exchanges have been converted to electronic exchanges, in unimaginable.
With due respect, I would like your esteemed department to look into the matter at the earliest.
Looking forward to expediting the matter.
Thanking You.
Yours Sincerely,
Sudhir Kumar
