Please refer to your Cash Memo No. 537, dated May 10, 2007, issued against the purchase of a pair of Ambassador shoes from your outlet for Rs. 995/-. Though the product has a guarantee for two years, I’m painfully shocked to inform that only after ten days, the sole of the right shoe got detached. When I showed it to the Incharge of the Outlet, he got it repaired and I took it back within a couple of days.
Strangely enough, the sole of the other shoe also got detached soon, thereafter, and cuts have appeared on the upper portion. I again visited the showroom and demanded that the shoes be replaced by a fresh one, as is allowed by the rules of your company. But the person not only refused to oblige, but also misbehaved with me.
Treatment of this nature with a customer is totally against your customer-friendly approach. May I hope that you will kindly issue instructions to the concerned person to replace my shoes by a fresh one, as it seems the shoes have some manufacturing defect ? I hope you will look into the matter personally and get me prompt relief.
