Subject : Non-delivery of my Parcel

Sir,

My friend, Mr. Kumar Mangalam, had booked a parcel, containing some valuable books and papers in my name from Jagan Villa, University Road, Agra, U.P. The said consignment was booked from the University Post Office by Registered Post on August 5, 2007 vide receipt no. 0592. It is a matter of great concern and surprise that the parcel has not reached me even after two months.

I am afraid if it has been misplaced or lost in transaction. Another possibility is that it is delivered at a wrong address ! The parcel contains some rare specimen of books and papers, which are of great academic importance for me.

A such, I would like to request that steps be taken to trace out the parcel at the earliest. I hope you will spare time to locate where the said parcel is stranded. The negligency of staff cannot be ruled out.

With regards,

Yours sincerely,

P.S. Ganesh
