Celebration of world population day is an awareness campaign on the implication of increasing population in the country. Our government makes 5-year plans for growth and development. But these plans are forfeited due to tremendous growth in the population over the years. Hence the growth and development of a country depends upon its stable population. The population could be stable only when every family, the unit of population will think over it. The well-being of the nation is the sum total of the health and welfare of every family and every individual in the family, but the quality of life of its members, makes it strong and prosperous.

So there is a dire need to make an awareness campaign in the society about the benefits of a small family. At the same time masses should be alerted about the disastrous consequences of the population boom. This direction to check the rising growth of population, some plans have been chalked out. Students should actively participate in the campaign by making colourful charts, innovative slogans and banners to help the spread of awareness about growing population. Children ought to be given the proper right to develop into worthy citizens of a country, who could lead the country step by step in the row of civilized and developed countries. But children cannot be fashioned in that manner until and unless there would be small family of one child.
