Sub. : Sub-standard carpeting of Ambedkar Road
Sir,
Respectfully, I shall like to state that subsequent to our repeated petitions and frequent delegations for favour of having the Ambedkar Road repaired, you had been kind enough to assure that our problem would be solved soon after the monsoon season. And all the residents of the area were greatly elated and felt immensely grateful to you, when the road was, actually, carpeted by the mid of August.
However, our joy proved to be only short-lived, as neither the material, that was used for repair, was of good quality, nor was the prescribed width for carpeting maintained. And now the same road has once again become a nightmare for the vehicle drivers. Everywhere, potholes have erupted like rashes, making driving bumpy as well as risky.
May I, therefore, request you to catch hold of the erring contractor and have him do the carpeting of the said road once again ?
With regards,
Sincerely yours,
Sharad Joshi
