1. It was a cloudy day. I set off to school with my bag and an umbrella.
2. I had barely left home when it started drizzling. I hurried along with the other people who were also hurrying.
3. Soon the drizzle turned to heavy showers. The road was completely wet, with water running into the drains near the road.
4. I took shelter at a bus stop and looked around. Little boys and girls were splashing water on one another.
5. Some children were dancing and jumping with joy. One small boy was trying to float a little paper boat.
6. Another child was trying to collect water in her tiny hands.
7. Some people were fully wet, but did not care, and kept on walking.
8. Cars and buses flashed past, splashing water.
9. After half an hour, the rains suddenly stopped.
10. I once again set off to school knowing that this time I won’t be scolded for coming late.
