A Park Scene

1. I don’t often go to the park. But yesterday due to a power breakdown I went to the nearby park.
2. There are shady trees with wooden benches under them. People were already in the park.
3. It was crowded. Many children were playing with a ball. On the benches, some old people were relaxing.
4. They were talking in a small group. Beautiful flowers were presenting a good sight.
5. A gentle breeze was blowing. Birds were chirping and hopping from one branch to another.
6. The sweet smell of flowers filled the area. Outside the park, vendors were doing brisk business.
7. Children were buying and licking ice cream sticks, some were holding ice cream cups.
8. The sun was about to set in the west. Parents called out their children to go back to their respective homes.
9. Most of the people left for their homes. Soon the park looked quite deserted.
10. Only a few young boys were seen talking in the park. I too left the place.
