Dear Narain,

I am in the process of making my will, and wonder whether you would be so kind as to allow me to appoint you as an executor and also a trustee in connection with the arrangements I am making for the children.

Without wishing to be little the service you will be doing me if you agree to this, I may say that the duties should not be too onerous. Your co-trustee would be Mr. Chander Mohan, and old friend of mine and a solicitor of the highest integrity, and in the event of the necessity arising you could call freely upon his expert advice.
