Student travel to study is overrated; we have brilliant scholars who studied locally. Is travel really required for higher studies?

It is a debatable issue that travelling is important for higher studies or not. Some people counter the idea that the previous scholars studied locally. They didn’t travel to the distant places as in the case with the modern students. I accord with the idea of travelling as the world has changed. I would like to discuss my point of views in the forthcoming paragraphs.

To initiate, there is a world of difference in the previous and ancient times and the modern time. The ancient scholars were used to learn the physical activities and practical knowledge. They were bound to their local place. The idea of global village was not introduced then. But, in the modern time the students’ needs to grab the information and knowledge about the world. So, they have to travel abroad to learn the higher skills and competitive attributes.

Further constructing the pyramids of my thoughts, I would like to say that in the previous times the means very limited. The people had to stay locally. They could not travel and fly in the sky like the people can do today. In the modern period the students can avail the opportunity to move to developed countries to expand their vision. The up to date techniques and study material inspire them to make their country like other countries.

Overall, the idea of travelling to distant places is quite good. The travelling itself teaches the students various things that cannot be taught by remaining at one single place.
