Letter the Editor of a Newspaper Complaining against Frequent Break-Down of Electricity

To,

The Editor,

The Hindustan Times,

New Delhi.

Dear Sir,

Permit me to bring to the notice of the authorities concerned through the columns of you esteemed paper, the frequent break – down in the electricity supply.

Frequent break – down of electricity has caused a great discomfort to the residents of this locality. Break-down for 4-5 times daily has become a routine. This break-down continues from half to full hour every time.  It is a cause of worry to the students who are appearing in different examinations. Every time the light goes off, they curse their fate.

Every time, we make  complaint,  we are told that the main line is defective. We do not know how long this sorry state of affairs will continue.

We request the higher authorities to look into the matter and save the inhabitants of this locality form this nuisance.

Yours faithfully,

Vinod Bakshi.
