The Autobiography of A Nationalist

I am a true nationalist. I can also be called a patriot. I have immense love and affection for my country. It is not an ordinary love. It is valuable and most natural feeling within me. This feeling has given me unusual courage and confidence to achieve gallant acts for my country, which are beyond my normal powers.

A nationalist has a deep liking for his motherland. Being a nationalist is a best quality that a person can possess. I am always ready to sacrifice my life for the cause of my country. Some people misuse the self-sacrificing nature of a nationalist in order to achieve their selfish goals. Thus, it is necessary to know a true nationalism.

My life is filled with loyalty towards my country and fellow citizens. Until a loyal nationalist dies, he is proud of being the citizen of that country. He loves his country without caring about himself. He never forgets to praise the successes of nationalists that belong to the other countries. A true nationalist like me never believes in force to attain goals. However, I always remain worried that my country should follow the path of honesty rather than being only an influential country.

In my entire life, I have never showed more respect to my own country by disrespecting the other country. I know that hating other country will result in war and other political problems. I hate fighting. I always try to bring out solutions in a peaceful way. I have dedicated my entire life to develop harmony, goodwill and unity among my fellow citizens.

I being a nationalist have led a life filled with dangers. I may not have a permanent place to stay and sometimes have to sleep without eating. I keep on travelling in different parts of the country to solve the problems of people. I do not care for my health and I am not afraid to say truth. I speak truth all the time and struggle for the rights of poor, old, women and helpless people. I sincerely serve people of my country in all ways possible. I will continue to do so until my last breath.

Just as care and love unites the family members, the spirit within a nationalist unites various people of a nation into a strong tie. Life of a nationalist is spent for his people and in nurturing friendship with other nations. However, if a war breaks out, I will be the first to fight for my motherland. I will cheerfully lay down my life, if it is required.
