Essay on “Email change World Communication” Complete Essay for Class 9, Class 10, Class 12 and Graduation and other classes.

Email change World Communication

In today’s world proper communication has taken a vital role in everybody’s life, whether it is a single entity, or a corporate house or a country. With the advancement of science and technology, modes of communication are always changing and evolving. With the advent of the computers and Internet boom everything seems to a mere click away. Electronic mails have transformed the lives of the people. With just a click of the mouse you can send and receive mails in seconds instantly irrespective of the huge distances. Previously the people have to wait for long time to get their letters delivered to receive a delivery, but now that has gone in the pages of the past.

There are two kinds of e-mails: Private e-mails and public e-mails. Private e-mails are the e-mails you send to your near and dear ones business partner. Any other person should not read them. Public e-mails are the e-mails that news agencies, newspapers, TV channels, corporations, etc. send to their subscribers to tell them about latest news, views, prices, etc. These e-mails although having same text and content are sent to many persons may be up to 10,000 or even 1,00,000.

Public e-mails are applied for by many users, so many copies of public e-mails are stored on the hard disc of any Internet based e-mail service provider (MSN, Yahoo, AOL, etc.) The storing mechanism seems to be like this: Dedicating a folder on the hard disc of an e-mail service provider to each user and storing all e-mails of users in their specific folders, the contents of which are displayed whenever users sign in their mailboxes and a database verifies their usernames/passwords. Under this mechanism 1,00,000 same newsletters are stored in 1,00,000 different folders; if 1,00,000 users apply for the newsletter.

How uneconomic! Just imagine that this mechanism be substituted by another that rely on only one copy of a public e-mail for everyone’s use, it will be a giant step in reducing the disc size needed to save data so it will result in much larger mailboxes (probably up to 10 GB! or even more!)

Consider that only one copy of 10 GB sum of e-mails can be used by all! It will boost mail usage and satisfy users unprecedented. Using one shared folder instead of many folders. In this case all the users’ e-mails are stored in one place instead of different places. As a result, the e-mails that have same title, sender and date (parameters can be added or reduced.) even if received many times are stored only once but a database keeps the records that which e-mails are sent to whom.

In this case when a user signs in and the database verifies user name and password, the list of e-mails and related data that belongs to the user according to database are displayed and whenever the user wants to check his/her e-mails the database searches for them in the folder and displays to the user. Whenever a user does not want an e-mail anymore if it is a private e-mail it is deleted both from the database and the shared folder. Public e-mails are deleted from the database for a specific user on his demand; they will not be deleted from shared folder, as other users may need them.

Though till a couple of years back, the concept of e-mails was new, many people hesitated to adopt it. But gradually the people felt that computers would touch everything in their lives, and so would be the services offered by the computers. People shifted from their traditionalist approach to a more radical look. They used it but now suddenly getting used to it has burdened the huge resources and are demanding more and more space and features to facilitate their lives. What was at first resisted has now become a necessity.
